The SINGA Scholarship 2025 has been designed to support students who are seeking to take Master’s programs leading to a Ph.D. or PhD degree at the NTU University. Nanyang Technological University is called NTU. Applicants from all nationalities are eligible to apply for the scholarship. All expenses are covered by SINGA.

Financial Benefits of Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) 2024-25:

Singapore international graduate awards 2024-25 will provide the following benefits to successful candidates.

• Tuition fees are covered in full.
• An annual stipend of S$2200 will be provided. Once the qualifying examination has been passed, the amount will be increased to S$2,700.
• Grant of up to S$1,500 for one-time air travel
• Upon settlement, a one-time allowance of S$1,000 is provided

Eligibility Criteria:

You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the Singapore International Graduate Award:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in order to qualify.
• The applicants are expected to have a high level of academic achievement.
• The applicant must have a good command of English.
• English Language Proficiency is not a requirement for a SINGA applicant as the skill can be assessed during the interview process. The university may, however, require students to possess an English Language Certificate.
• Applicants who are Singaporean citizens or have already finished their tertiary education in Singapore are not eligible to apply.
• This program does not accept applications for the master’s program from those individuals who wish to apply.
• The candidates are only eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program if they intend to pursue a career in science or engineering.
• The following PhD courses are not eligible for the program: social sciences, humanities, economics, etc.

Documents Required:

You will be required to submit all required documents online.

• Passport copy in good standing.
• The photo should be in the format of a JPG or PNG and should be recent.
• English is the language of instruction on all academic transcripts.
• Referees will submit two recommendation letters online.
• The university may require that you submit a certificate of English proficiency.

How To Apply

• Applicants must submit all the necessary documents online in order to apply for the position.
• Candidates will have to select their research projects and browse through the research areas by clicking on “Go to Research Areas”.
• Reference letters must be sent directly to SINGA by the referees in order to be considered.
• After SINGA receives two reference letters from at least two different sources, the application process will begin.
• The online application must be filled out with soft copies of all the required documents.
• SINGA applicants do not need to apply on the university’s portal separately if they are applying through the SINGA portal.
• You should submit your application two weeks before the deadline because your referees will receive an email once your application has been submitted and have seven days to complete and submit the references.
• Applicants are required to include a detailed description of their research proposal in their application.
• Candidates are permitted to submit a maximum of three research proposals.
• To apply for SINGA, you do not need to contact your supervisor.
• PhD candidates are not obligated to follow the major in their bachelor’s degree and may apply in any field of interest.
