Bachelor Degree Scholarships are usually awarded in a period of 8 semesters whereas master degree scholarship programs are normally awarded in a period of 24 months (4 semesters). Financial Benefits of KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2024-25 in Indonesia:
The Indonesian Government provides the following benefits to recipients of KNB Scholarships:
- The university will provide new students with a settlement allowance of IDR 1,500,000 upon their arrival in Indonesia
- New students will receive only a living allowance and a book allowance while attending the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs
- The KNB students are eligible to receive a monthly allowance that includes a living allowance, a research allowance, and a book allowance during the Academic Program
- Student should have a health insurance policy with a maximum premium of IDR 400,000 per month (if the cost of medical services exceeds the insurance’s coverage, the difference will be the student’s responsibility).
- The student will receive a free round-trip international airfare from the airport of the student’s home country to the Indonesian airport as well as local transportation to the university where they will be studying.

Indonesian KNB Scholarship:
This scholarship program is sponsored by the Indonesian Government and is offered to needy students from developing countries with the aim of earning their Master Degree from one of 16 prestigious Universities in Indonesia. The Foundation has awarded more than 1000 scholarships to students from 71 developing countries around the world between the years of 2009 – 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be at least 35 years of age in order to be considered for the scholarship.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree (master’s degrees are not accepted).
- The applicant must possess a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL or IELTS (or another certified English proficiency test)
- The minimum score is 80 or 6.0 or the equivalent.
- The online application form must be completed by applicants.
- Successful candidates are required to sign a statement prior to departing for Indonesia
- Management of KNB Scholarships prepares a letter and scholarship agreement.

- Certificate of graduation and transcript of records
- Results of the HSSC examinations with marks sheets
