You must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS):

•  You must have achieved an Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the sub-score of speaking skills relating to the general English language test requirement.
• All Nationalities are eligible to apply for this Scholarship.
• UT scholarships are available only to students who have applied for entry into a course at the University of Twente. You must first obtain an admission letter regardless of your funding source.
• Your application has been (provisionally) accepted into one of the qualifying graduate programs at UT, beginning in the fall of the next academic year (September). The results of your application may take up to eight weeks to be received after you have submitted your application.
• The student number must be provided to you.
• Having not completed a graduate program at UT;
• If you are required to obtain a visa for entry into the Netherlands (if applicable), you comply with those requirements;
• The Dutch study loan is not available to you;
• Students who are excellent are eligible to apply for the University Twente Scholarship. The best 5 to 10 percent of your class is usually what this means if you belong to the top 5 to 10 percent.
