Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are required to meet the following criteria in order to be considered for the CSC Scholarship at Dalian University of Technology:

• A candidate’s mental and physical health must be in good shape.

Documents Required:

• Copy of passport (valid for more than six months).
• 6 pictures (3cm*4cm).
• Highest diploma. There is a requirement for notarized translations in English or Chinese of documents in languages other than English or Chinese.
• The transcript must be accompanied by a notarized translation into English or Chinese if it is in a language other than English or Chinese.
• Study Plans and Research Plans must be written in English or Chinese (no fewer than 800 words).
• The letter of acceptance from the supervisor of the DUT.
• The applicant must provide two letters of recommendation either in English or in Chinese from two professors or associate professors from their previous university.
• It is mandatory to have an original copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form and a copy of the Blood Test Report that are in English.
• An affidavit of no criminal conviction.
• Tests such as HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
• The Chinese-taught program requires an HSK certificate (within two years):
• The HSK score must be at least 4 180 for majors related to science, technology, management, and economics;
• Applicants with majors in Humanities, Social Science, and Philosophy should have a score of 5 180 or higher.
• The English–taught program requires the following certification:
• Transcripts of the TOEFL or IELTS must be submitted, in principle, the TOEFL must be 80 or higher and the IELTS must be 5.5 or higher;
• Students who used English as their language of instruction at their last educational institution are required to present a certificate certifying their proficiency in English.
• There is no need to take an English proficiency test for applicants from countries where English is the native language.
